Who said you can't show an old dog new tricks.  The new redesigned bulldog has kept most of the predecessor characteristics.  Same low consistent rocker for speed and ease of paddling. We simply pulled the tail in a little more from behind the front fins and deeper double concave through the fins for additional performance, drive and hold.   We have been able to keep the same volume and dimensions as before maintaining its original purpose to be ridden in 90% of surf.  Still your great every day board. Its high volume allows it to be ridden about 4-6 inches shorter than your regular performance board. Its fast, skatie and highly manoeuvrable.  A super fun board that can be ridden in 2 foot mush to over head thanks to the new enhancements. If you could have only one board in your quiver, this would be it.  We also added an additional 2 sizes in 6'6 and 6'8
