ECS Boards ships surfboards and paddle boards throughout Australia using specialist freight services.
After entering your delivery address at checkout, you can select from two delivery options:
TNT/FedEx Depot Collection or Commercial Business Delivery
Residential Home Delivery
Free collection from our Central Coast warehouse is also available by appointment.

Depot collection is generally the most economical way to have a board delivered.
View TNT/FedEx customer collection locations
When checking the TNT/FedEx location list, look for a depot marked Customer collection.
Select TNT/FedEx Depot Collection or Commercial Business Delivery at checkout, and we’ll arrange delivery to a suitable collection depot based on your location.
We’ll confirm the depot address and provide tracking details after your order has been dispatched. Please wait until you have been notified that your board is ready before visiting the depot. Identification may be required when collecting your shipment.
The closest location listed by TNT/FedEx may not always be suitable for oversized board freight. We’ll confirm the appropriate collection depot before dispatch.
Australian Shipping Rates
For shipping purposes, boards are divided into the following categories:
Surfboards up to 6'3
Surfboards 6'4 and over, including mid-lengths and longboards
Paddle boards
These categories are based on the packed dimensions used by our freight carriers. Surfboards measuring 6'4 and over require a longer freight carton and therefore attract a higher freight rate.

Commercial business delivery within the Adelaide, Hobart or Launceston metropolitan areas
Residential delivery within the Adelaide, Hobart or Launceston metropolitan areas

Perth and Western Australia
The flat rates below apply only to:
Collection from the TNT/FedEx depot at 272 Rutland Avenue, Welshpool WA 6106
Commercial business delivery within the Perth metropolitan area
Residential delivery within the Perth metropolitan area

Customers outside Perth may still select the Welshpool depot option if they can collect their board from that depot.
Northern Territory
All deliveries to the Northern Territory require an individual freight quote.
Please contact us before ordering with the board model, size, delivery suburb and postcode. We’ll check the available depot, commercial and residential delivery options.
TNT/FedEx Depot Collection
Collection from a TNT/FedEx depot is generally the most economical delivery option.
Select TNT/FedEx Depot Collection or Commercial Business Delivery at checkout. We’ll arrange delivery to a suitable customer-collection depot and provide the confirmed address and tracking details after dispatch.
Find your nearest TNT/FedEx depot
You’ll be contacted when your board is ready for collection. Please do not visit the depot before receiving confirmation. Identification may be required when collecting your shipment.
Commercial Business Delivery
The depot/commercial rate can also be used for delivery to an attended commercial business address during normal business hours.
Please provide the business name with the delivery address. The address must be a genuine commercial premises and cannot be:
A residential property
A home business
A PO Box
A parcel locker
An unattended location
If the carrier classifies the address as residential, the residential delivery rate will apply.
Residential Home Delivery
Residential delivery is available to most serviced street addresses.
Select Residential Home Delivery at checkout. The displayed price includes the carrier’s residential delivery charges applicable to the selected board category.
If you live in a unit, apartment building or another property with restricted access, please contact us before ordering so we can confirm whether delivery is available.
We cannot deliver boards to PO Boxes or parcel lockers.
No TNT/FedEx Depot Nearby?
If there isn’t a suitable TNT/FedEx depot near you, please contact us before ordering.
We may be able to arrange collection through the wider Big Post depot network or another commercial collection location. These services are individually quoted because available locations and freight costs vary considerably.

Regional and Remote Locations
Our flat rates apply only to the locations and standard freight areas described above. Remote, regional and limited-access destinations may require an individual freight quote.
If the selected flat rate does not cover your address, we’ll contact you before dispatch. You can approve the revised delivery cost or receive a full refund if you decide not to proceed.

Dispatch and Delivery Times
In-stock items are usually dispatched within 24–48 hours.
Estimated delivery times after dispatch are:
Boards and Paddle Boards
Australia: 3–10 business days
International: 7–21 business days
Accessories
Australia: 1–3 business days
International: 7–21 business days
Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by the destination, carrier schedules, public holidays, industrial action and other circumstances outside our control.
Tracking Your Order
Tracking details will be sent to the email address provided with your order once the shipment has been dispatched.
Tracking information may take several hours to become active after the freight has been collected by the carrier.
If you haven’t received your tracking information, please contact us at info@ecsboards-australia.com.
What Happens if Nobody Is Home?
Residential freight may be delivered with authority to leave where the carrier considers it safe to do so.
If you don’t want your order left unattended, please contact us before dispatch. We’ll request an alternative arrangement from the carrier where available. Additional carrier charges may apply.
Freight Packaging, Damage and Optional Transit Cover
We take considerable care when preparing boards for transport.
Boards are protected with reinforced packaging around vulnerable areas and shipped inside a sturdy board carton.
Please inspect the packaging and board as soon as possible after delivery or collection. If you notice any damage:
Photograph the carton before opening it.
Photograph any visible damage to the packaging.
Keep all original packaging.
Photograph the board and the affected area.

Optional transit cover is available at checkout and is subject to its applicable terms, conditions and exclusions.

International Shipping
International delivery may be available by individual quotation.
Please email info@ecsboards-australia.com with the board model, destination country, city and postcode so we can check the available options.
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes or other destination charges imposed by local authorities. ECS Boards must declare the shipment’s full sale value.
